Now: we don’t have to stew about ‘unknowns’ – eg do bananas grow tip up or down? How old is David Lee Roth…? The space between knowing and not knowing is smaller than ever. I wonder how the marshmallow test for delayed gratification would be received (without judging it’s earlier errors in not considering trust and other socioeconomic factors)

Alec also shared how his identity was used in 2007 in online romance scams… so he knows the false identity/catfishing world a bit too well.

How to read/research critically – it’s getting harder. Trust matters.

• look for previous work
• Go upstream (to the source)
• Read laterally
• Circle back
• Check your emotions 

Are you too connected/wishing to be mindful of AI edited content (Hillary Clinton shirt ) What questions can/should you ponder?

Read laterally – knowing right/left leaning press; truth vs opinion vs fiction vs ideology vs ???
