Day 66 (of 2024/25) the eras blog (thanks @taylorswift13 )

Been awhile since I’ve been to a stadium concert but the most frequently played artist in my classroom and month in review video series is worth braving the crowds. But a photo blog of the cultural event…

So glad one of my song prompts came true!
BC Transit was well prepared!
Lots of people. Lots of shinies!
Can’t wait to be part of the light show!
Merch line was significant… 2 hours
❤️ they have a sensory room… trust me – it is very over stimulating!
I don’t like crowds this size… but there was definitely an energy!
Countdown clock with Lady GaGas Applause set a tone for the night
I had been teasing my daughter I’d be asking around “is this Scooters version”? So I loved this moment!

Longest tour she’s ever done as fans have made it so much more than a concert tour. This felt different. A chance to relive past memories as well as create new ones.

But I can only imagine how much this cost her. 18 months on the road is hard. I know people will throw criticisms around the ticket price. But that secondary market wouldn’t be there if people would pay that amount and have a great time. And my comment: Wow. What an experience. I get why people want multiple show experiences

It may have been awhile since I’ve been to a stadium concert, but I’ve been to a few. Best I’ve seen and experienced – best of all she reminds me of Bryan Adams in Vancouver – doesn’t need a lot of special effects. Guitar or piano and had the audience in the palm of her hands. But at the same time… wow what some enhancements!

Didn’t expect the roller coaster of emotions and memories the eras songs would bring – lots of memories at schools and spontaneous dance parties… think I need to host some for our asynchronous learning community…

Secret songs: guitat: haunted & mirrorball – piano: Never grow up & Best Day
