It’s more than just wearing a symbol on a necklace – it includes the wearing a hijab, turban, yarmulkes, and any garment that covers the face… and it includes volunteers and parents… I wonder a) how this would go over here on the west coast, and b) how widespread can the ‘religious symbols’ be expanded to refer to…
